Hi, Heather:

I just wanted to let you know that Trixie is a wonderful addition to our family, and we couldn't be happier to have her. She's absolutely perfect!

Thanks again!

Irene

Boggs

Hi Heather,

Boggs was everything you said.

What a sweet boy!

Maxine and her son picked him up this evening and promised to update you on his progress.

Love Julie

Caesar

Dear Heather and everyone at Project Paws, and Pat and Luke's Place, I live in a hard city in a hard business world and rarely have exposure to angels like Heather and Tiffany of Project Paws and Pat Pinches of Luke's Place. Being exposed to such a rigorous and relentless hardness, and being so required to be driven, I rarely have time to work on that side of the vocabulary. Caesar

One day, I met Project Paws after our treasured and adored 11 year old Rottweiler died unexpectedly. Loss is a terrible event for any family, but we never suffered loss of a life during the time my small son has been alive. I took it hard, real hard, and was struggling for a resolution of the pain for my small son.

I stumbled across Pat Pinches of Luke's Place in Ridgewood who works with Project Paws. They were all an intense curiosity to me, nice (and that's an understatement) people working on something they love, a true deserving charity - homeless animals. It could not be real how nice these people were, I thought.

I did some checking and it turns out they are angels. Real life angels. No fooling, no kidding, no joking.

Heather, Tiffany and Pat gave me Caesar. A stunningly glorious dog with a heart of gold and a gait so glorious and coat so rich, it looked like he stepped out of a Roman god list of greats. He changed our life and healed the pain. He is so wonderful and so delicious, we found ourselves thanking Project Paws and Luke's Place weekly, daily, hourly. Pat gave me the dog after meeting me once, but being an angel, I guess you can figure people out quickly.

Then, the heavens opened again, and Tiffany found Athena for me. A twin of Caesar found in the same pound Caesar was found. Heather stretched her angel wings as far as she could and swept down and scooped her up with mighty headwinds in her flight path to long and ugly to detail here. It was a glorious sight to behold as she gave up several days of her life to drive to get her for me. I just couldn't believe it. It was shocking to me that someone believed so much in her passion to jump off the merry-go-round, to help me for no particular reason.

I am picking up Athena Saturday night. Our family adores Caesar (as does the entire neighborhood) and our family will then be complete.

Thank you to Heather, Tiffany, and Pat, and Julie,
Signed, Still in awe of your many gifts,
Cleopatra

Hi Heather,

Buddy has completed our family. He is settling nicely with the whole family. My youngest son, Jacob, loves him dearly and they bond more each day. My autistic son wants to make sure Buddy always has everything he needs. We are taking Buddy to the ball parkBuddy aka Bubba and Jacob1 with us and he is never to sure if he wants to get in the truck.

We have gone three times and today was the first time he got in and out of his truck without having to lift him. He is eating and sleeping good every day. He enjoys his walks, which I need to help de-stress me after my day at work. He seems the happiest when I come home from work. It makes coming home even better. Thanks for letting us adopt him and I hope all is well for you and your family, too!

Sincerely,  Pam

k, I just finished wiping my eyes. I just left Prince with his new family. A couple who have 4 boys ages 4,7,10 and 12 years old. The 7 year old has MS (Multiple Sclerosis))Prince

The 7 year old lit up when he saw Prince and this special dog knew something was different with the boy. Prince kissed him and gave him all the attention. When I left he tried to follow me but as soon as I was gone they said he went over and laid down with the boy. This kid was happy and all the boys were playing with him. It really was where this dog was meant to be.

I just talked to the Mom again and she said Prince is lying on the bed with all of them watching TV. I am a 250 lb K9 cop and I am not supposed to get all mushy but this did it for me. Thank you for saving him. I owe you one. Nick ( Picture to Follow from new Fur-Ever Family)Prince After Surgery 2

Prince when found at a local dumpster had been burned very badly on his back. He underwent surgery at one of the BEST local vets here in Murphy, NC (Dr. Carlton Van Horn - Alpine Animal Hospital) and is healing nicely.

Hi, Heather!
Hope all is going well for you, your husband and critters. Cowboy+Gandolph

Was not sure if you got the previous pic. of Gandolph, but here he is today wearing his new cowboy harness. He has turned into a wonderful companion for Tater and a real joy to us. He is up on the chair with me now and loves to watch the computer screen, especially when he sees a photo of himself - he tries to lick the screen.

Take care, Bernadette

Gandolph was left with four siblings and Mom at a local church in a box. All the pups have found loving homes and Mommy has been adopted by her Foster Dad..with Foster Mom’s blessings.

Duke is settling in nicely. Here is a pic of him relaxing with my boy. He met Smokey the cat this morning, and it went weDukell. They touched noses, then the cat ran off to absorb what just happened - they will be best friends soon. He slept in our room last night, no issues, took him out first thing after we got up. He has not eaten much, but food is there for him, so when he is ready, he'll eat. He has sat by the door a few times and cried a little bit, softly, as if he was waiting to be taken back home to you folks.

I know what you folks did yesterday was not easy, as we have had him less than a day and he is firmly in our hearts already - please know we will take the best of care of him and love him forever. Tony
